profits of rage tour dates

Profits of Rage is set to hit the road. The new supergroup has officially announced their 2016 tour.

What is Profits of Rage?

The group is comprised of band members from many different iconic rock and hip hop groups. Rage Against the Machine band members Tom Morello, Brad Wilk, Tim Commerford and teaming up with Public Enemy's Chuck D and Cyrpress Hill's B-Real. The tour stars August 19th in Fairfax Virginia.

We know you're upset. We are too. There had been rumblings of an official Rage Against the Machine Reunion tour but it looks like Zack de la Rocha will continue to sit it out. He has been working on a low key solo project. That's all we know.

Check the live video below.

Will It Come to a City Near You?

Prophets of Rage made their live debut at Los Angeles’ Whisky a Go Go on May 31 and have since played gigs at the Hollywood Palladium and Brooklyn’s Warsaw. The band takes its name from a Public Enemy song and has so far played material from from the catalogs of all its members, including “Insane in the Brain” (Cypress Hill), “Fight the Power” (Public Enemy), and “Killing in the Name” (Rage Against the Machine). They’ve also busted out a cover of Beastie Boys’ “No Sleep ‘Til Brooklyn” and told Rolling Stone they’re working on original material.
