Converse Just Showed Us The New "1970's" Black Floral Design

Posted on 25 February 2015

This shoe is the perfect combination of tough guy missed with sensitive soft side. Made from black leather, it is scattered with beautiful floral pattern across the side and back of the sneaker. The bipolar aesthetic for this Chuck features a sleek all-black premium leather and black soled base, but then shows its softer side with a lovely rose pattern in pink and coral tones on each lateral side and blue and purple flowers on the medial side. The unique new Chuck Taylor is arriving at Converse First String stockists like Bows & Arrows now.

This version of the First String Chuck Taylor All Star 1970 Hi appears in a premium unlined/deconstructed black leather base with accompanying leather round lace. A multi-colored floral graphic print is featured on the upper offering a stark contrast to the otherwise monochromatic shoe. The floral graphic itself is inspired by 2 iconic American flowers- the Massachusetts state flower “Mayflower’ and the U.S. national flower the ‘Rose’.
