Meet Daniella from Doing It Sober

Posted on 01 March 2018

The last few days, I have had the joy and the pleasure of interacting with Daniella Park, the founder of Doing it Sober.

I have nothing but good things to say about this woman. First, a little backstory.

A few years ago, I was contacted by Daniella. She has seen some of my writing on Sober Nation and reached out. She told me about the vision she had for an apparel company. She told me about how she wanted to sell jewelry and lots of items.

It sounded exciting, but I remember sitting at my desk thinking to myself "oh great, another sober clothing line." It was judgmental of me, I admit. At the time, it seemed like everyone wanted to start their own line. I remember thinking to myself "these people have no idea how much work it is actually going to take."

So time passed. I continued to build New Lyfe and all the while, Daniella was hard at work building her own apparel line.

Well it turns out Daniella was not joking around when she told me her intentions, because over the last two years, I have watched her build a loyal community and basically become the hottest sober apparel line there is.

I love seeing passionate people work hard to achieve great things.

I love the layout of her website, because it is user friendly and easy to navigate which makes for a great shopping experience. I love that Doing it Sober offers a wide range of products. You can get tee shirts, hats, jewelry, even sobriety coins. It is a great idea.

Finally, I love that she has built a feel good vibe and culture around her brand. When I speak to Daniella and I look around her store, I feel very comfortable and at ease with everything.

There is really no way around it. In order to build something like that, you need to be willing to put in the hours. I love so much when I see people who did what they had to do. I love that Daniella was able to take her recovery and transform her energy into such a beautiful creation rather than living the life she had before.

I encourage everyone to check out Doing it Sober. I would love for you to buy a shirt or maybe even reach out to her to say hi. Tell her Tim sent you. :)

Thanks Daniella. You're a rockstar!
